A sustainable hydrogen economy in the Rhenish mining area and beyond: a presentation at VHS Rureifel

Structural change in the Rhenish mining area is an opportunity to achieve the transformation to a sustainable energy system also on a local level. In its function as an energy carrier, hydrogen will play a crucial role in the future energy system. This presentation will outline the various options for the production, transport, storage, and use of hydrogen. Current demonstration projects in the Rhenish mining area will also be presented.
